Armhf, as a 32-bit platform, has limited memory space available. Over in
chromium-land, we keep running out of memory and having builds fail when
statically linking together the browser with the various rust libs on
armhf (though mysteriously not i386.. yet).
As a test, chromium packages are unar'ing the stuff in libstd-rust-dev,
strip -d'ing the .o files, and ar'ing them back up before linking in an
effort to reduce lld's memory usage. Fabian suggested filing this bug to
a reminder to consider properly stripping out debug symbols for the
packaged .rlibs on certain architectures.
