As the upstream author of bbe, I would like to report that
upstream development
has moved from SourceForge to GitHub:
https://github.com/TimoSavi/bbe
We have just released version 0.2.3, which includes:
- Critical memory safety and buffer overflow fixes
- SIMD/vector-accelerated pattern matching (memchr/memcmp)
- Modernized GNU Autotools build configuration (C99, silent rules,
foreign mode)
- Automated regression test suite (make check)
- Updated documentation and sed-style binary stream samples
Attached is a patch updating debian/watch to format 4 (tracking
GitHub tags),
debian/copyright (source URL and copyright years), debian/control
(Homepage),
and debian/upstream/metadata.
