Dear Maintainer, Plz consider adding "--show" to the application desktop entry. The current desktop entry launches Twinkle without the `--show` argument. This causes inconsistent behavior when starting the application from a launcher or dock. Without it, if Twinkle is already running and minimized/hidden to the system tray, invoking the desktop entry again does not bring the existing window back into focus. Instead an error message is displayed. By changing the Exec line to call Twinkle with `--show`, both cases are handled correctly: 1. If Twinkle is not running, `--show` starts it with the main window visible. 2. If Twinkle is already running (whether visible or hidden), `--show` will raise/display the existing window. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.7 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 7.2.6-isp4 (SMP w/24 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C.UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_CA:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages twinkle depends on: ii libasound2t64 1.2.14-1+deb13u1 ii libc6 2.41-12+deb13u4 ii libccrtp2t64 2.0.9-4.1+b1 ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-19 ii libgsm1 1.0.22-1+b2 ii libmagic1t64 1:5.47-4~ffwd13+u1 ii libqt5core5t64 5.15.15+dfsg-6+deb13u1 ii libqt5gui5t64 5.15.15+dfsg-6+deb13u1 ii libqt5qml5 5.15.15+dfsg-3 ii libqt5quick5 5.15.15+dfsg-3 ii libqt5widgets5t64 5.15.15+dfsg-6+deb13u1 ii libreadline8t64 8.2-6 ii libsndfile1 1.2.2-2+deb13u1 ii libspeex1 1.2.1-3 ii libspeexdsp1 1.2.1-3 ii libstdc++6 14.2.0-19 ii libucommon8t64 7.0.1-0.4+b1 ii libxml2 2.12.7+dfsg+really2.9.14-2.1+deb13u3 ii qml-module-qtquick2 5.15.15+dfsg-3 ii twinkle-common 1:1.10.3+dfsg-1 twinkle recommends no packages. twinkle suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
