Hi,
The test failures (TestConcurrentBasicBigValues, TestTableBigValues) no
longer reproduce on current Debian sid ppc64el.
I ran the testsuite of badger 2.2007.2-4 on ppc64el hardware with the
current sid toolchain (golang-any 2:1.26~1, Go 1.26.8) and all tests
pass.
The fix appears to be in the Go toolchain — the failures were present
with Go 1.25 and earlier but are gone with Go 1.26.8.
I have not confirmed exactly what in Go 1.26 fixed this.
There is however a separate compile error while building badger on
current sid for ppc64el
(golang-github-dgraph-io-ristretto-dev 2.4.0-1 introduced
generics,golang-github-cespare-xxhash-dev 2.3.0-4 changed its import
path).
I will file a separate bug report for that with a patch.
