Bug#1149533: xterm: characters at column $COLUMNS-1 can disappear in a redraw

Wed, 30 Sep 2026 17:46:01 -0700

This is actually more complex: this depends on the scrollbar.

With

env -u XAPPLRESDIR xterm -fa "DejaVu Sans Mono-10"

column $COLUMNS is affected, but with a scrollbar:

env -u XAPPLRESDIR xterm -fa "DejaVu Sans Mono-10" -sb

column $COLUMNS-1 is affected.

This could be a miscalculation of a position somewhere.
