Hi!
While rebuilding the python related packages against the Python 3.15rc2
version we found that auth0-python fails to build from source:
https://debusine.debian.net/debian/r-python-python3.15/artifact/4855671/
From the log, the error seems to be:
=================================== FAILURES
===================================
____________ TestBase.test_custom_client_info_preserves_user_agent
_____________
[…]
)
> self.assertEqual(base_headers["User-Agent"],
f"Python/{python_version}")
E AssertionError: 'Python/3.15.0rc2' != 'Python/3.15.0'
E - Python/3.15.0rc2
Thus, it seems that the User-Agent used in the test matches the version
+ the release candidate string, whereas the Python version string
doesn't have the release candidate, which causes this rather irrelevant
failure.
I haven't looked any more deeply at this, I'm not sure if the assert
even makes sense at all, but ideally we shouldn't see a failure for
using a release candidate.
