Hi, I closed this bug earlier without explaining why, so here it is: aMule 3.0 rewrote the HTTP downloader used for the IP filter, server.met and nodes.dat updates on top of wxWebRequest (upstream commit 86c4769d86). wxSocket no longer runs in a worker thread, which is where this assertion came from. The fix is in 1:3.0.1-1.
