* Package name : raylibdoom Version : 0.2.0 Upstream Contact: Raydelto Hernandez <[email protected]> * URL : https://github.com/raydelto/raylib_DOOM * License : GPL-2, LGPL-2.1+ (Nuked OPL3) Programming Lang: C Description : DOOM engine from the 1997 Linux source release, on raylib raylibdoom is id Software's 1997 Linux DOOM source release (linuxdoom-1.10), ported from X11 and OSS to the raylib library and made to run on 64-bit systems. The original software renderer is kept: it draws the 320x200 paletted picture, which raylib shows scaled to 4:3, with sound effects and OPL3-emulated music. It also reads UMAPINFO, so episodes such as SIGIL show up in the menus. Why: it is a small, readable port that stays close to the original 1997 code (unlike chocolate-doom/dsda-doom, which are based on later source trees), and it is the only DOOM engine using raylib, which is already packaged in Debian (libraylib-dev 6.0). It Provides doom-engine and Recommends freedoom | doom-wad, like the other engines. I am the upstream author and intend to maintain it within the Debian Games Team (salsa.debian.org/games-team/raylibdoom). I need a sponsor. The packaging is ready: https://github.com/raydelto/raylib_DOOM/tree/master/debian
