Package: papilo Version: 3.0.1+ds1-2 Severity: minor Tags: patch Hi,
We hit an FTBFS with papilo 3.0.1+ds1-2 in Ubuntu because LTO is enabled by default there. A few exported C++ symbols listed in debian/libpapilo-core1d.symbols get dropped, which makes dpkg-gensymbols fail. Disabling LTO fixes the build. I tested the change on the affected Ubuntu architectures and they all build successfully with it. Debian isn't affected at the moment since papilo isn't built with LTO by default, but would you be okay with carrying this small change anyway? Ubuntu bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/papilo/+bug/2168984 Thanks! Zineb
