Subject: multimedia-audio-plugins: recommends invada-studio-plugins-ladspa, invada-studio-plugins-lv2 and xsynth-dssi which are not in unstable Package: multimedia-audio-plugins Version: 0.13 Usertags: package-relations package-relations-recommends Severity: normal
Dear maintainer(s), I noticed that package multimedia-audio-plugins recommends invada-studio-plugins-ladspa, invada-studio-plugins-lv2 and xsynth-dssi, which are currently not available in unstable. Reading: - https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/invada-studio-plugins-ladspa - https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/invada-studio-plugins-lv2 - https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/xsynth-dssi I see that invada-studio-plugins-ladspa got removed in January 2026 because it is unmaintained upstream (https://tracker.debian.org/news/1703186/removed-031-7-from-unstable/) I also see that invada-studio-plugins-lv2 was removed in November 2026, unmaintained and depends on gtk2 (https://tracker.debian.org/news/1692060/removed-120repack0-10-from-unstable/) And the last one, xsynth-dssi, it seems that the last uploads were in 2019 and removed from testing in 2025 November, it seems unmaintained. I think that the recommends should be removed. Thank you for your time, PS[0]: I am developing a tool to detect such issues: https://salsa.debian.org/carlespina/check-relations . Reports are manually reviewed before submission. If you would prefer not to receive such reports (for specific packages, all of your maintained packages, etc.), please let me know.
