This seems to have been introduced by node-base64-js
1.5.1+dfsg+~1.5.0-1, where the only substantial change was to replace
@types/base64-js with a stub. Xavier, can you advise what the right
fix in ipywidgets would be?
This turns out to be a bug in node-base64-js. I've filed
https://salsa.debian.org/js-team/node-base64-js/-/merge_requests/1, and
verified that ipywidgets builds with that fix. Please could somebody in
the JS team apply this?
