Package: cvs Severity: normal
Many users will want to install CVS only as a client. During the installation prodecure, a dialog asks: "List the directories that are the roots of your repositories, separated by colons." It seems that deleting the offered /var/lib/cvs and entering an empty string will do what client-only users want. But this isn't described in the message. I suggest adding a sentence to this dialog: "If you only want to use CVS as a client to access repositories stored elsewhere, enter the empty string here." Maybe this could even be the default? -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
