gedit stopped supporting Python plugins with version 48.2. I tried asking the upstream maintainer to reconsider but that was unsuccessful. Additionally, the plugin seems already not working with Debian Testing's 48.1-9. I guess there are 2 ways forward: - Switch the project to being a plugin for pluma instead of gedit - Rewrite in a different programming language like C or Rust I'm not filing as RC because other parts of rabbitvcs like the nautilus plugin seem to work, but you might want to stop providing the gedit plugin.
