I made a mistake in my previous message. I wrote that the previous version where everything worked was 3.0.24-2. That was incorrect. The earlier version of VLC where everything worked was 3.0.24-1.I updated from version 3.0.24-1 to 3.0.24-3, and that was when my playlists stopped working.
