It looks like there's a fix for this problem in geeqie upstream - see the geeqie upstream bug
https://github.com/BestImageViewer/geeqie/issues/2219#event-33669160102 and the fix https://github.com/BestImageViewer/geeqie/commit/9fd4145803bad3d1ff9829c39e9d9ea01872349a - so I am considering reassigning this to geeqie and close it there when I get that fix to the geeqie Debian package. /Andreas [email protected]
