Hi Christian,

I just spotted http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=20622 which was fixed
in

  http://mysql.bkbits.net:8080/mysql-5.0/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
 
This has been assigned CVE-2006-3486, but it looks a bit fishy to me.
Do you think this can be exploited by an user, i. e. can a normal
authenticated mysql user trigger this?
