Yes, I would apreciate that too. However, I would suggest a controlling option like Unattended-Upgrade::Purge-Unused-Dependencies="true". With that set, unattended-upgrades should only purge packages then with got obsolete as a consequence of the last run, and not all packages with rc state of the system. Thus we'd have a kind of securtiy and controll, and it would eliminate manual cleanup rounds.
