Hi Andrej, Thanks for picking up the fix in 2:2.11-5.
Would you consider also fixing this in trixie through a stable update (trixie-proposed-updates, for the next point release)? Trixie still ships 2:2.10-24, which has the bug. Any nearby device sending a DPP chirp can repeatedly crash a trixie machine running an access point with wpa_supplicant (for example a NetworkManager hotspot or shared Wi-Fi), which also drops its client-mode connections. The fix is upstream's 4-line guard (9cb7b0bce) and nothing else. It applies to the 2:2.10-24 source with an offset. We have run 2:2.10-24 plus only that patch on several trixie arm64 devices since 2026-09-14 with no side effects, and the crash no longer happens there. If it helps, I'm happy to test a proposed-updates package on that hardware. Thanks again, Jandros
