OK, this is weird. I'm using firefox 159.0-1, and I tried both
fonts-materialdesignicons-legacy versions 5.9.55+6.9.96+dfsg-3 and -5,
and when I used the inspector to look at the fonts used on the page,
with both versions of the package, Firefox tells me that it is only
Liberation Mono and Liberation Sans on the Stack Overflow page, and
Liberation Mono and Noto Sans on the GitHub page. So I'm not sure
that it's related to this package.

Hmmm.

Best wishes,

   Julian
