Source: verilator Version: 5.048-1 verilator-5.048 was packaged on 2026-04-30 (thanks, Ahmed!). Unfortunately that version is subject to issue #7708 https://github.com/verilator/verilator/issues/7708 and that is deadly for a Verilog code base I help maintain. Later versions (5.050 and 5.052) are fixed.
Please update the verilator package. - Larry
