Package: plasma-login-manager
Version: 6.7.4-3
Severity: wishlist

Dear Debian KDE team,

after an update of the package or a related library Plasma-login is included as defaut to be restarted immediately by tools like "needrestart" or "checkrestart". If the user just goes with the default it will crash the session and may result in data corruption or loss.

Other login manager like "sddm" are excluded as a default and restart is deferred to the next startup/login, same for services that would break the running session like "udev".

Could it be possible to apply similar logic to plasma-login and have it excluded as the default in the aforementioned post update services restart tools?

My apologies if the bug should be submitted to the "needrestart" or "debien-goodies" packages, I do not know in which direction the information is supposed to flow.

All the best, thank you for your attention and hard work.

PS: reportbug (13.2.0+nmu1) being currently broken on my system I could not use it.
