dput by default has in its config file: run_lintian = 0 I propose to change that to 1. Why? Because in principe the test does no harm and can only do good (point out problems that were missed before). Sure, there are reasons where it doesn't add value, but those users can turn it off if they like. I'd rather have that someone would turn if off after thinking about it than have to think about turning it on :) Thijs
