Hi. During package upgrade, I found out that init script is invoked (/etc/init.d/ntpdate start). It should either be called with restart parameter, or should not be called at all. I personally suggest the second choice (passing --no-start parameter to dh_installinit). - -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-ck1 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages ntpdate depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-15 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcap1 1:1.10-14 support for getting/setting POSIX. ntpdate recommends no packages. - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFEum/5i2PKBl+Ic14RAt+3AKDgENaFGTJz+a1GGkcjYFzV04BBYQCgoPU6 5lgvrNVhj0ts2vJuyCbBvSc= =MS5Z -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
