thank you very much for the patch - I'll upload a new package in a
minute.

Btw, the last two steps are not necessary, as dh_installdocs will
already take care of that. (Otoh, if you want to install the doc-base
manually in the package, you should also add the necessary hooks to
postinst and prerm, as explained in the doc-base docs.)

I'll take this as cause to start adding doc-base support to my other
packages, I have totally been neglecting this so far. (Hmm, maybe I'll
also add a question about that to the NM templates :)

Are you aware of backports.org? There is a version of endeavour2
compiled for Sarge available. When the new version has propageted to
testing, I'll also backport that so it includes the doc-base support.
