I just installed logwatch and my first reported contained 68K lines regarding Exim, thus making the report totally unreadable. It would be useful to be able to get a much more compact summary, or omit certain types of errors.
The exim script is probably the worst of all logwatch scripts - if someone sends me enough loglines of both exim3 and exim4, I'll rewrite it from scratch. I need someone to send me loglines, because I don't use exim, I use courier.
If you send me the most annoying lines, I'll throw them out or make a short summary.
