Hi, I have libcairo2 1.2.0-3, kdebase 4:3.5.4-2. I already had antialiasing enabled, but fonts did not look so great and the problem of missing text in the page and bookmarks tool bar etc occured with firefox. Turns out disabling and enabling antialiasing again in kde control / appearance and themes / fonts removed the problem and also improved fonts. It seemed like antialiasing that had not actually been working after a recent upgrade, until I disabled and reenabled it.
