Package: gnome-panel Version: 2.14.2-1 Severity: normal gnome-panel displays icons from the gnome icon theme instead of using the icon i have manually select. Eg. for XChat I select the icon "/usr/share/pixmaps/xchat.png" through the application launcher properties dialogue, but in gnome-panel it actually shows "/usr/share/icons/gnome/32x32/apps/xchat.png". I don't want that. There must be some way to override the default application icon from the icon theme with a custom icon.
In addition, the override is inconsistent.
