Package: p3nfs Severity: wishlist I suggest you mention plptools for EPOC devices, if possible in the package description. From what I can see, plptools is still a better choice for those devices, as it provides equivalent functionality to p3nfs without needing to install a client on the EPOC device, plus various other functionality including backup which closes all applications on the remote machine, and (admittedly rather out of date, but still working AFAIK) KDE integration, as well as (not yet in Debian) the ability to set the remote machine's clock.
Also, you might like to encourage users of non-Psion EPOC devices by saying "Psion/EPOC" or something (I know you can't just say EPOC, as a lot of people won't know what that means). That would help users of the 5mx Pro and Geofox 1! I'm the upstream plptools maintainer, but I'm only doing that job because I still use a Psion device; I have no personal pride invested in the code! In fact, its NFS code was based on p3nfs, and if there were a way to integrate its functionality back into p3nfs, I'd quite happily stop using it (I don't use the KDE stuff). -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
