Package: debhelper Version: 5.0.37.3 Severity: wishlist foo.rules is an awfully general name. With kernel modules in particular one often has a bunch of file like rules, rules.module, foo.rules lying around; it becomes hard to tell them part. So having a clearer name for the udev files would be welcome.
Maybe this is something that you could consider for iteration 6, or make it an optional alternative.
