I've just run apt-get remove --purge backup-manager again, reinstalled and had the same result. Strange... > > I used dpkg-reconfigure to complete the configuration. However, once I finished I get the note > > asking me if I want to install the package maintainer's config or my > > own. Ah, I see. I'm still not presented with the tarball-incremental option. I notice there are other options not listed, so I'll presume this is intentional and therefore not a bug. > The postinst phase will only handle BM_TARBALL_TARGETS, so edit your > conffile after the installation to make sure this variable is enabled > and not BM_TARBALL_DIRECTORIES[]. Done, and backup-manager seems to be working properly now. FWIW I had to make sure I listed the target directories in the appropriate places and number the arrays (?) accordingly. This is an area I am completely unfamiliar with, but it wasn't hard to work out what was happening. Thanks for making it all so clear! > Regards, > -- ============================================= Cameron Horsburgh http://web.netcall.com.au/horsburgh ============================================= -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
