Package: laptop-detect
Version: 0.12.1
Severity: wishlist
Common best practices (as advocated on debian-mentors, among other
places) indicate that VCS files should not be included in Debian source
packages unless they are already in the upstream source archives (which
they also shouldn't and which doesn't apply here anyway).
Therefore you should remove the {arch} subdirectory before creating the
source package.
92 of the 132kb of the unpackaged source package are used by the VCS
files. Including them just doesn't make sense. I suggest using
arch-buildpackage or a similar tool to build your package.
Regards,
Sven
