Could this be documented in the segfault mail, that /usr/share/samba/panic-action sends out as a stop-gap measure?
I don´t think it is nice of a program to segfault on a previously acceptable config file option. Of course this is in unstable, and this bug report is not that hard to find, but saving maybe hundreds of users the time it takes to solving this problem should be worth a few lines in the mail mentioned above or in README.Debian. Something like a short mention of "guest" in smb.conf and mentioning this bug should be more than enogh IMHO. TIA /ralph
