Hello, I came across http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2006/08/msg00005.html and if I understood it correctly, dpkg is now frozen. Do you think the localization updates (as well as the improvements for the orignals, e.g. man pages) as reported by me and others can make it into Etch? I really hope that they do, because at least for German speaking people the addition of both the po file for the package as well as the translated man pages are a big win.
If you need my help to talk to the RM(s), please tell me, I
co-maintain a package with one; otherwise I'd appreciate your efforts
on this matter.
