If "view" is F3 I get for example:

drwxr-xr-x root/root         0 2006-08-11 12:16 ./usr/bin/

[..]

So if "empty directory" means the zero size dirs like /usr/ in the
above example I cannot reproduce this old bug and suggest to close
it.
