regarding the following bug report:

The bundled xmoto level editor segfaults whenever it loads any downloaded level.
Steps:
1 - Download (in game) any level.
2 - Go to ~/.xmoto/Levels/downloaded
3 - Run xmoto-editor and open any level.
4 - Segfaults with:
[snip]

0.2.0 and earlier was very stupid when it comes to opening levels in
the level editor. It will always open levels relative to the Levels
directory, so it doesn't matter which directory you've placed yourself
in. And to make matters worse, it will cause a segfault if the level
isn't found.
The current CVS version is slightly less stupid: It still only opens
levels relative to the Levels directory, but now, instead of simply
crashing when a level isn't found, it will create a new level with the
given name (works from the command-line).
