reopen 382681 found 382681 0.93debian1 thanks Hi,
This bug was closed in version 0.93debian1: - prefer openbsd-inetd to netkit-inetd (Closes: #382681) However, this does not fix the bug as reported. As mentioned in the original report: * netkit-inetd is being removed this week. You must remove this dependency; reordering the dependencies does not fix this. * Depending upon any specific inetd is a bug. This dependency is provided by netbase, so you do not need it. The followups to the original report (which I for some reason didn't receive) did recommend doing this, but it wasn't for some reason. After etch, this will change, and there will be a virtual inetd package to depend on instead of netbase. There will be a migration needed at that point, but ltsp is on the migration package list, so you would be notified of any changes at that time. So, please could you change Depends: debconf (>= 0.5) | debconf-2.0, debootstrap, nfs-kernel-server, lsb-release, atftpd | tftpd-hpa, openssh-client | ssh, openbsd-inetd | netkit-inetd, iproute, debconf-utils, esound-clients to Depends: debconf (>= 0.5) | debconf-2.0, debootstrap, nfs-kernel-server, lsb-release, atftpd | tftpd-hpa, openssh-client | ssh, netbase (>= 4.08), iproute, debconf-utils, esound-clients Thanks, Roger -- .''`.
