Yes, I'm confident that gnat-gps 4.0.0 will be in Etch.

gnat-3.3 is known to be buggy, I recommend against using it.  Does the
problem also happen when you build with with gnat 3.15p on Sarge?

You may also want to pass -gstabs+ or -gstabs- to gcc and see if it
makes a difference.
