Package: snes9x-x Version: 1.43-2 Version 1.43 of the emulator currently in Debian repositories is not included in the testing and unstable amd64 repositories and is broken in the unofficial sarge repository for amd64. However, the latest version of snes9x (1.5) now includes support for amd64 architecture.
Binaries and sources of version 1.5 could be found at: http://snes9x.ipherswipsite.com/ (linked from the official snes9x site http://www.snes9x.com/downloads.php) The snes9x binary included in the "Linux 64-bit Binary" tar.gz seems to run correctly on my amd64 debian box (testing/unstable, kernel 2.6.17); I haven't tried to compile it from source though. Is it planned to include the version 1.5 of snes9x in unstable (and in particular to add it to the amd64 repositories)? If it is not the case, could you please add it if there is no major problem?
