Package: irssi
Version: 0.8.10-2
Severity: normal

this happens when using irssi ssl connection and tor (maybe this is a
low band/speed problem).

tor+bitchx works
tor+bitchk+ssl works
tor+irssi works
tor+irssi+ssl doesn't work

it seems there's an infinite loop somewhere, strace ($ torify strace
irssi) reports a long (endless) list of:
recv(5, "", 8, 0) = 0

then I have to kill irssi, the system is unusable, it uses all the cpu.

Cheers,
Daniele
