Package: irssi
Version: 0.8.10-2
Severity: normal

Irssi produces frequent warnings from scripts when warnings are enabled.
The problem is already added in the irssi bug database with number 242
(http://bugs.irssi.org/index.php?do=details&id=242&area=comments#tabs),
but is marked as Unconfirmed because it is claimed to be unreproducible,
and thus caused by an installation problem. I can assure you it is
reproducible in debian unstable, both on i386 and amd64.

Steps to reproduce:

 * start irssi
 * connect and join a channel with people in it
 * type this: /script exec use warnings; Irssi::windows;
