The manpage for debootstrap seems to indicate that the MIRROR parameter can be a file:/// url. It gives the following example: file:///PATH_TO_LOCAL_MIRROR/debian I presume this needs Packages.gz/etc, would it be feasible to generate this using the contents of /var/cache/apt/archives and the apt/dpkg Packages files? -- bye, pabs
