Package: ntp Version: 1:4.2.2+dfsg.2-1 Severity: normal Hi,
It seems my NTP daemon stopped working. Syslog was filled with lines "ntpd_initres[5062]: ntpd returns a permission denied error!" Someone suggested this might be due to an unreachable timeserver in a pool. I'm using the default pools. A restart 'fixed' the issue, NTP is running again. But I think NTP should detect this and try another server in the pool itself (if that was really the problem).
