I'm no artist and the icon was simply copied from an existing one. If you are interested in customising the image, I'd welcome a new icon. Maybe something with the current "box" superimposed on the Debian swirl, as on the deb-gview homepage: http://dpkg-view.alioth.debian.org/ (but with a smaller swirl). (The "superimposed image" is created with CSS trickery.)
