To be sure, can you use pilot-link 0.12.1 from experimental and recompile jpilot 0.99.9 from unstable with it and retest? You just need to install libpisock-dev from experimental (version 0.12.1-1) and rebuild jpilot (0.99.9-1 from unstable).
