I got same problem. scanimage -L doesn't give anything, but
sane-find-scanner finds it ok.
Could you please retry with the USB_DEBUG environment variable set to
255 and send us the result? Thanks
Also, do you have an USB hub between the computer and the scanner? If
yes, could you please try without it?
