When the svn-buildpackage command is invoked to export a build a debian package in build-area, all empty directory trees are not included. If the upstream package build scripts require the presence of these empty directories, the build will fail.
I have corrected this by modifying /debian/rules to remake the directories during the "clean" process but dpkg-buildpackage still reports a warning about missing directories from the upstream source.
I am using Debian unstable.
Hm, does --svn-no-links help you?
Yes, that seems to work. I saw that in the man page but it wasn't clear that that would solve the problem. Thanks!
