I reproduced the caracter insertion bug on pergolesi.debian.org in the pure amd64 chroot with zile 2.2.18 (I will test 2.2.20 today). I confirm that the error message is normal (given the .zile file used). However it seems that the caracter (0xFF) is inserted when the error message is deleted from the minibuffer. Note that the problem also appear on merulo.debian.org which is an ia64 system (on sarge and sid). -- Nicolas Duboc <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
