Package: libtunepimp3 Version: 0.4.2-3.2 Followup-For: Bug #370390 I was experiencing this bug as well when using amarok. Tagging files just hung forever due to the crashed thread.
The patches above fix the bug, if you can manage to apply them cleanly (I had to use 'patch -l', but even then configure.in would not patch properly). Please include this patch in the next version, as it would also seem to close out a much-maligned bug in amarok!
