Cant repeat on my end.
tested in osX 10.3.9(Apple's X11) / SuSE9.2(Xorg6.8.1) both directions
tested on Solaris > SuSE9.2(Xorg6.8.1)
tested on various linux distributions / SuSE9.2(Xorg6.8.1) both directions
Hint: the unresolved symbols may point to a other direction.
Is it a clean installation, no mixed versions?
