Package: module-init-tools Version: 3.2.2-3 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
When trying to remove any alsa-related modules, e.g.: modprobe -r snd_pcm_oss the moprobe 'multiplies' itself (ps -A gives a huge list of sh/modprobe) to the end of system resources. Also renders alsaconf unusable. rmmod works OK, though. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL (charmap=ISO-8859-2) Versions of packages module-init-tools depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.1-15 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip module-init-tools recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
